Text to Voice reads webpage text aloud and highlights words as they are spoken. The extension runs locally in your browser.

Data we collect

• We do not collect or store personal information.
• We do not collect web browsing history.
• We do not collect authentication, payment, health, or precise location data.

Website content processing

To provide the core feature, the extension temporarily accesses and processes the text content of the webpage you are viewing (and any text you select) so it can convert it to speech using the browser’s Web Speech API and highlight words while reading.

This processing happens on-device in your browser. The extension does not transmit webpage content to any external servers.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share data with third parties.

Security

All processing is performed locally. We do not operate servers for this extension.
